Friday, September 20th, 1996: The last pitch has been thrown, and the last out has been made. All the cheers have subsided. The baseball season is over for the fans, but for the USBL Double A decision-makers, it is just starting again. The season never really ends for general managers, who start their "second season" today. The front office staff is working overtime analyzing hirings and firings and planning out a strategy that will get their team to the championship next season.
You may now manually select the league award winners, the option is available in the league menu. If you want the AI to select the awards, simply ignore the option.

| USBLAA News: Playoffs begin
Monday, September 2nd, 1996: Some clubs have coasted to make the playoffs -- others have scrapped tooth and nail to get here. After a long, sometimes seemingly endless regular season, it gets down to who can win a short series -- by hook or crook, talent or luck. That's what it takes to capture the USBL Double A championship. The top teams will vie in the Round 2 starting today:
Santa Ana Shrimpers versus El Paso Diablos and Greenfield Hatchets versus Midland Angels.

| USBLAA News: Regular Season ends
Monday, September 2nd, 1996: Another season has come to pass and "to the winners go the spoils" -- the lucky ones will be headed for the playoffs in a few days and a chance to win the USBL Double A title in the Round 2. The envious losers, however, will suffer a long and somber offseason, wondering where it all went wrong and trying to figure out how to do it right.
